The City Council is back at City Hall. With restrictions on public interaction based on the COVID-19 pandemic lifted, the body met in chambers for the first time in over a year.
Members of the public were also allowed to attend the June 21 meeting.
“It’s great; it’s nice to see faces and be together,” Council President and at-large member Christopher Cinella said. “It’s been a strange 18 months, but we were able to move the city’s business forward in a remote capacity.”
“Video-conferencing worked well, but it’s time to get back to some normalcy,” Ward 4 Councilor Mark Garipay added.
