GC previously worked in Metro law department
The directors of home health and hospice giant Amedisys have added Meharry Medical College’s general counsel to their ranks.
Ivanetta Davis Samuels joined the board of Amedisys, which is headquartered in Baton Rouge and has a Nashville executive office, on Tuesday. She was also named to the board’s compliance/ethics, nominating/governance and quality of care committees.
“I am excited to welcome Ivanetta and her vast leadership experience to our Board of Directors,” Amedisys Chairman, President and CEO Paul Kusserow said in a statement. “Her unique legal and public policy experience will provide our leadership team with a new and broader perspective as we continue our journey to becoming the solution for those who want to age in place.”
