She continued: "When I joined that family, that was the last time until we came here that I saw my passport, my driver's licence, my keys, all that gets turned over.
"I went to the institution and I said that I needed to go somewhere to get help, said I had never felt that way before and need to go somewhere, and I was told that I couldn't, that it wouldn't be good for the institution."
She said she went to "one of the most senior people" within the Royal Family and then to the palace human resources department.
"Nothing was ever done," she added.
