Medical assistant in Montgomery County sent to prison for stealing patient information in theft scheme

A Philadelphia woman who worked as a medical assistant will spend time in prison and has a restitution bill of more than $31,000 for stealing information from patient records, including Montgomery County victims, which she used to fraudulently open credit cards, purchase items, and lease an apartment.
