New York State to stockpile five years' worth of medical abortion drug, amid conflicting court cases

The move to stockpile misoprostol comes after a Texas court last week restricted access to mifepristone, the other medication used for medical abortion, upending decades of reproductive health care in the U.S. less than a year after the reversal of Roe v. Wade.
