McPherson On NCAA Goalie Of The Year Watch List
McPherson is in her first year with the University of Vermont.
Announced by the Women’s Hockey Commissioners Association, the list includes 21 goaltenders from across the NCAA. The award will be announced in March at the NCAA Frozen Four.
“Our commissoners group is pleased to make this announcement and add a new and appropriate award to the national landscape,” said Joe Bertagna, Secretary-Treasurer for the Women’s Hockey Commissioners Association.
“We hope to name this award as we go forward but for now, we are pleased to offer this recognition to our best female netminders.”
