McKinney puts out the call for a Texas muralist to tackle $10,000 project
The deadline to apply for the 100 by 50 foot mural project is Friday.

The McKinney Arts Commission has put out a call to Texas artists for a public mural project in historic downtown.
The commission is looking for a professional artist to paint a mural on the north-facing wall of the future Cadence Cyclery at the Woodsmen of the World (W.O.W.) building at 119 S. Tennessee St. The cap for the project is $10,000, with that covering all costs associated with the artwork.
