MBTA says it's ready for Boston Marathon crowds

Both the MBTA and Boston City Hall say people coming into town for the marathon for "absolutely" take the T — though that's now qualified with the suggestion to “budget additional travel time” as the MBTA faces its first big test under new General Manager Phillip Eng amid assorted reliability problems including myriad subway slow zones
