MBARI app gets gamers to help explore the ocean

The Moss Landing-based Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute is letting artificial intelligence — and gamers — take the reins. This summer, MBARI launched a beta version of its new game app, FathomVerse. The game drops users into an aquatic world with tasks and missions to complete.
