Mayor: Plans for Mirschel Park upgrade taking shape in Hempstead Village

Hempstead Village Mayor Waylan Hobbs Jr. said a planned upgrade of Mirschel Park will cost $9 million, but the municipality will get started with about $900,000 available to spend.
