(Mandaluyong City PIO / MANILA BULLETIN)
In an interview with DZRH News on Saturday, Abalos said if they are able to inoculate at least 7,000 individuals a day, herd immunity in the city will be achieved before November, which is the target month of the national government for the National Capital Region.
Abalos said the city has vaccinated 100 percent of its A1 and A3 priority groups and 58 percent of its A2 groups for the first dose.
The mayor also said Mandaluyogn residents are not choosy when it comes to vaccine brand.
“Gusto na talaga nila mabakunahan (They jut really want to be vaccinated) regardless of brand. For them, any brand, any vaccine will do as long as mabakunahan na kami (they will get vaccinated),” she said.
