There was a revealing moment in an interview Max Mosley gave to Channel 4 a little over two years ago when, confronted with a racist leaflet published by him, and whose very existence he had previously denied under oath, he was asked whether he had perjured himself.
“That’s a very offensive suggestion which you shouldn’t make,” he shot back. The premise for the question was itself “stupid”.
