Consumer and pharmaceutical goods provider Massy Distribution, the latest partners of the Jamaica Athletics Administration Association (JAAA), has handed over $500,000 worth of sanitization products to the athletics body aimed at enhancing safety at the remaining high school athletic meets this month.
Vice President and CEO of Massy Distribution Janine Chen, in handing over the items commented, "The safety of our young people is mission critical for Massy Distribution. It has been a particularly difficult time for our student athletes. In early February, UNESCO identified physical inactivity as a parallel pandemic running alongside Covid-19. We are very happy that our athletes are again getting the opportunity to continue their training and participate in these meets. It’s important for them to get a feel for where they are with respect to hitting their (athletic) milestones."
