The last person to speak, Brandon Harwell, who is also against masks, asked the council if they could explain what the resolution would accomplish if passed. David Hammond, city attorney, told Harwell the resolution doesnât really change much from normal operations. As it stands, if someone goes into a business and is asked to leave but refuses, they can already be deemed as trespassing by police.
