An Eastern Cape artist caught his big break after his portrait of Paul Mashatile was handed to the deputy president last week. The picture, painted by 29-year-old Sphesihle Langa, is now hanging in the deputy president’s office in the Union Buildings. Mashatile is the most high-profile person Langa, of Flagstaff, has had the opportunity to paint.
