Masdar City to break ground on region's first net-zero mosque

Abu Dhabi-based sustainability hub Masdar City will break ground on the region’s first net-zero energy mosque next year. The 2,349-sq-m structure, with a capacity for 1,300 worshippers, will produce 100% energy using 1,590 sq m of on-site PV panels.
