Maryland Senate primary: Alsobrooks defeats Trone in race for Democratic nomination; Hogan wins GOP nod

Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks emerged victorious in the Democratic contest after trailing early in the campaign. Former Gov. Larry Hogan cruised past six competitors to win the GOP contest.
