Mary Ann Moran pours a fresh pot of 'Tea at Five' in online revival at South Bend Civic

SOUTH BEND — From time to time, theaters re-stage plays.
It’s rare, however, for a revival to feature the exact same cast in the exact same roles as in a previous production, especially at a distance of eight years between them.
But Matthew Lombardo’s “Tea at Five” makes that easy for South Bend Civic Theatre’s upcoming production: Mary Ann Moran stars as the play’s only character, Katharine Hepburn, just as she did in January 2013.
Back then, Civic staged the play in its black box theater. This time, it premieres Friday in an online-only production that Moran filmed over the course of two Wednesdays this month — Act I, followed a week later by Act II.
