Marshalls slated for Spring 2022 opening at Parkway Plaza in Cambridge

Tentatively scheduled to open in spring 2022, Marshalls department store will join Rural King in the former Kmart building in Cambridge.
The opening was confirmed by Rural King Realty after the Marshalls name was added to the Rural King sign along Southgate Parkway.
Rural King hosted its grand opening in late March.
An American chain of off-price department stores owned by TJX Companies, Marshalls will occupy 24,928 square feet at the south end of the building.
Rural King occupies 71,130 acres on the north end of the building leaving 24,640-squre feet available in the middle.
No occupants have been announced for the middle section of the building. Rural King Realty officials said they cannot confirm any potential occupants for the space.
