A Marion man died after a car and motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon in Pleasant Township, according to a release from the Marion Highway Patrol Post.
Troopers are now investigating the crash, which took place Wednesday around 4 p.m., and the death of Devin M. Black, 23, of Marion. It was also noted in the release that Black was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The other driver, Andrew D. Habbas, 35, of Marion, also sustained minor injuries after the crash, per the release.
In a preliminary investigation, troopers believe Black was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Sommerlot-Hoffman Road when he hit Habbas in a Dodge Journey that was traveling westbound and making a left turn into a driveway. Black was pronounced dead by the Marion County Coroner's Office, according to the release.
