Marion County judge, wife sentenced to 2 years in prison from 2020 hit-and-run crash
Under Ohio Revised Code, Jason Warner will not be eligible to serve as a judge as a convicted felon.

A Marion County Common Pleas Judge and his wife have been sentenced to two years in prison for injuring a 19-year-old man in a hit-and-run crash from June 2020. 
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced that Judge Jason Warner and his wife Julia were found guilty of multiple charge, including complicity to tampering with evidence. 
According to a crash report, the couple was driving shortly after midnight on June 4 in the area of Somerlot Hoffman Road in Marion when they failed to yield while turning and hit another vehicle. The other vehicle then hit a utility pole.
