A hard-hitting group of pacing mares will meet Thursday evening (July 22) for the top event at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The Capital oval will host 12 dashes Thursday with the $2,900 featured fillies and mares pace lining up in Race 11. Woodmere Skyroller has the outside in that field of six with Corey MacPherson picking up the driving duties again for trainer Kevin MacLean and owner Reg MacPherson of Stratford. The daughter of Rollwithitharry was third in Atlantic Aged Pacing mares series action her last start at Truro Raceway in Nova Scotia, charging home in the stretch drive.
