Marcellus woman charged with filing false insurance claims
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- A Marcellus woman has been charged for allegedly filing false claims with an insurance company, according to Attorney General Dana Nessel.
Christine Michelle Presock, 42, has been charged with six counts of insurance fraudulent acts. Each charge is a felony punishable by up to four years in prison and/or a $50,000 fine.
Investigators say Presock submitted six accident claims for injuries suffered by Presock, her husband and her two children, between June 2018 and August 2019. Investigators say none of the injuries occurred.
