A new assisted living facility in Essex is nearly ready to start welcoming new residents in the summer.
Maple Ridge is adding another building to its campus which will more-than double the amount of apartments it currently offers. Just feet away from the now-open Memory Care Community facility found adjacent to The Essex will be Maple Ridge Lodge â an assisted living community that will have 71 private studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments.
âI think seeing that there is a need for senior living within the greater community of Vermont and Northern New York and creating a community that's actually going to be part of a campus â to really support the needs of an aging demographic â is something that we identified and wanted to provide,â said Community Relations Director Kate Driver. âWith the pandemic continuing to linger, it's important to note that we are offering a clean, brand new building; that's something that also is a huge component. Weâre just making sure that we're supporting a community as a whole as much as we can.â
