In June 2019, Richard Sebamala resigned his job as the Iganga Municipality principal executive engineer to start a journey to unseat Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi as Bukoto Central Member of Parliament. It was an uphill task that many thought he wouldn’t complete.
