Three major insurance companies say they are “pleased” with a new decision from Saskatchewan’s highest court — the latest step in their long battle with a group of investors over the use of insurance policies as investment vehicles.
The Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan heard the three closely-related cases, which turn on whether the investors can put any money into policies with a guaranteed rate of return, over three days last January.
