Manitoba plans to immunize nearly 10,000 personal care home residents over a four-week span beginning Jan. 11, the province announced on Wednesday.
The 28-day campaign, outlined by Premier Brian Pallister during a news conference, will immunize an estimated 9,834 eligible residents at 135 homes, with the first 1,157 people getting their first doses starting next week at seven locations across the province.

Pallister said by early March, every eligible resident will have received both doses of the vaccine. Immunizations are expected to use the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
