Manistee Democrats' virtual meeting to feature Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel

MANISTEE — The Manistee County Democratic Party will hold a membership meeting this week with guest speaker Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on March 18 via Zoom; the link can be found at www.manisteecountydemocrats.us/ .
A former criminal prosecutor and civil rights attorney, Nessel was sworn in as Michigan’s 54th Attorney General on Jan. 1, 2019. The attorney general's responsibilities include safeguarding the public from violent criminals, helping victims of crime, leading the fight against human trafficking and opioid abuse, preserving Michigan's spectacular natural resources, protecting consumers and addressing illegal business practices.
