The Manila city government denied circulating posts on social media that certain areas in the capital city will be placed under lockdown due to the rising number of COVID-19 infections.

According to some posts and even an advisory letter allegedly from the Manila Barangay Bureau, several areas in Binondo will be placed under lockdown. A separate post listed barangays that will be placed under lockdown in several districts in the city.
