Manila Cathedral warns public vs fake solicitation letter

The Cathedral posted the picture of the fake solicitation letter Wednesday, April 21, on its Facebook page.
“Please be warned of a fake solicitation letter that is being sent to people asking for donations for the installation of Cardinal Jose Advincula Jr. as Archbishop of Manila,” the Cathedral said.
“We inform everyone that this letter is fraudulent and we are not soliciting money for Cardinal Advincula’s installation,” it further read.
The fake solicitation letter said that a fundraising is being initiated for the vestments, crosser pectoral cross, ring and other expenses for the supposed installation of Advincula on May 13.
