Seven years have passed since the proposal for setting up an integrated market for selling mangoes and other horticulture produce was sent to the Mango Development Board. The absence of such a market has led to growers facing challenges in selling their produce profitably, resulting in distress sales and exploitation by middlemen from Gujarat and Maharashtra.
