As has been recently publicized, the national state of disaster has been extended by the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs to 15 April 2022 under section 3 of the Disaster Management Act No. 57 of 2002, in terms of section 25(5)(c) of the Act.  After 15 April 2022, the state of disaster will be lifted, and freedom, happiness and social equality will once again abound and everything will return to the Edenic state of pre-Covid bliss.   But what happens to the pandemic specific regulations and restrictions that employers have been operating under since the lockdowns began?
