Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos announced on Monday that the LGU has allocated more than P54 million for the hazard pay of its employees who reported for work during the previous Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) due to the surge in COVID-19 cases this year.

“Inanunsyo ni Mayor Menchie Abalos ang inilaan ng Pamahalaang Lungsod na P54.5 milyong budget para sa hazard pay ng mga regular, casual, service contractual, at job order na empleyado ng city hall na kanilang matatanggap na simula ngayong araw (Mayor Menchie Abalos announced that the city government has allocated a total of P54.5 million budget for the hazard pay of regular, casual, service contractual, and job order city hall employees. They will receive the said hazard pay starting today),” the LGU said in a Facebook post.
