Looks like United's players arrived early
They drove their own cars to Old Trafford around lunchtime, to reduce the chance of disruption. They will have had their pre-match meal and done some stretching at the stadium.Â
Liverpool's Champions League hopes still alive
There is the potential for further Manchester United fan protest at Old Trafford against the Glazer family, but on the pitch this evening's game between United and Liverpool has taken on fresh significance for the visitors.Â
Arsenal's surprising victory at Chelsea leaves the door to Champions League qualification ever so slightly ajar for Liverpool, but they must retrieve a seven-point deficit with two games in hand. After tonight's match, they finish the season with fixtures against relegated West Brom, Burnley and Crystal Palace so there is the chance for a sprint finish and a maximum of 69 points.Â
