JOHOR BARU: Police have arrested a man and a woman for allegedly throwing a molotov cocktail at a house in Taman Cahaya Masai here and setting it on fire.
Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said the 30-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were arrested at a house in Taman Puteri Wangsa near Ulu Tiram here at 11.30pm on Sunday (March 14).
He said both suspects were believed to be involved in a March 4 incident, where a molotov cocktail was thrown at a house, setting fire to the front part of the house and the victim’s car.
“We suspect that both of them were also involved in several other similar cases in Seri Alam, and splashing paint were part of their motive to claim debt payments.
