TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - A manhunt is over after Georgia authorities captured 20-year-old Jsaan Strover, who escaped custody in an Atlanta airport as he was being extradited to Arizona.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, Strover escaped Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputy custody Thursday morning.
Strover ran from deputies as he was riding in a tram at the airport, according to AZ Family. Deputies chased him into a nearby forest but the suspect was still able to get away. AZ Family reports the Maricopa County sheriff’s said he has plans to launch an internal review into what led up to Strover’s escape.
