Man wanted for assaulting, threatening wife at gunpoint

A man is wanted for allegedly assaulting and threatening his wife at gunpoint.
Benjamin Castillejas Jr., 27, is wanted out of the Laredo Police Department for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
LPD said a domestic disturbance was reported on Jan. 7 in the 900 block of East Olive Street. A woman stated that her common law husband, Castillejas, had assaulted her and threatened her.
She added she was at her husband’s family’s house for an anniversary party when the argument ensued. She stated she and Castillejas began arguing. She began walking away in an attempt to de-escalate the situation when her Castillejas grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the ground.
