A man is in the hospital after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash where he was chasing another vehicle, according to the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened at 8:50 a.m. Saturday when a Ford F-150 was chasing a Saturn Ion, Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office Capt. Josh Phillips said.
The chase started in Sioux Falls and eventually made it to Interstate 29, took the Renner exit and went through the town, Phillips said.
Eye-witnesses told the MCSO that the F-150 appeared to be chasing the Ion before they went through 258th Street, just east of the intersection of 258th Street and SD Highway 115 and into the ditch.
