Man hit over head with crowbar and battered with rake in 'appalling day time attack'
A man was hit over the head with a crowbar and attacked with a rake as a gang of men jumped him from behind.
Police now want to identify the people in the CCTV images following the incident, which happened at the beginning of last month.
On Sunday November 1 at around 3pm a group of around five or six men have grabbed the victim, 29, from behind, on Ash Avenue in Kirkham.
They struck him with a rake and hit him to the head with a crowbar.
