Man files lawsuit petition against IPD for excessive force

One Kansas City, Missouri, man has filed a lawsuit against the Independence Police Department Monday for stopping him in Feb. 2020 for jaywalking without probable cause, and for alleged use of excessive force and racial discrimination.
