Man fatally shot, woman wounded in Old East Dallas, police say

An 18-year-old man was fatally shot and a woman was wounded late Saturday in Old East Dallas, police say.
Officers were dispatched about 10 p.m. to the shooting in the 1300 block of South Barry Avenue, not far from Interstate 30 and Fair Park.
Officers found Kobe Mascorro and a woman passenger inside his car, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Her name was not released.
