Man facing charges in Stratford and Sarnia – including attempted murder – granted bail

A Southwestern Ontario man facing serious charges in two cities at opposite ends of the region, including attempted murder, was released from the Sarnia Jail after being granted bail in both locations, a jail staffer confirmed Thursday.
Terrence Shipway was taken into custody last November by the OPP’s West Region tactical team during what they called a “high-risk arrest” in a small Huron County hamlet north of London. Now he’ll be heading to another rural community north of the Forest City – his parents’ home in Ailsa Craig – where he’ll be under house arrest as his cases move through the courts.
