Man Faces Felony Charges for June Police Pursuit

One person is facing felony charges as the result of a police pursuit from late June.
Pike County Sheriff Tracy Evans reports that on June 29th, at 1:35 p.m., in the Village of Beaver, Deputy Marc Thompson was working in his patrol district when he observed a vehicle traveling 65 mph in a 55 mph zone, and initiated a traffic stop.
Upon stopping the vehicle, the driver, John Isac Ray Blevins, refused to comply with Deputy Thompson and fled the scene of the stop, driving in a reckless manner.
Near Balzer Road, Blevins is reported to have lost control of his vehicle, driving through a yard at 6168 State Route 335, damaging the yard.
