A man appeared in court
A THIRTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with assaulting a woman and causing criminal damage to a mobile phone belonging to her.
Phillip James Harding, of Kermishaw Nook, Astley appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
Harding, 34, pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and criminal damage.
The 34-year-old is accuse of assaulting a woman on Sunday, November 8, 2020.
Harding is also accused of causing damage to a mobile phone belonging to the woman on the same date.
He is accused of committing the offences in Leigh.
After Harding submitted his not guilty pleas, the case was adjourned for a trial to take place at a future date.
