A man in his 40s is dead after a “major” fire ripped through a Gatineau multi-unit housing complex at 808 Rue Saint-Louis.
Sixty firefighters spent seven hours battling the blaze after it broke out around 1 p.m. Saturday, with “significant damage to the building,” Gatineau fire officials said in a statement.
