Man charged with murder in connection to Fairview homicide investigation

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A man has been charged with murder and animal cruelty in connection with a homicide case in Fairview the Anchorage Police Department is investigating.
Officers responded to reports of a disturbance at the 1000 block of Ingra Street just before 1 p.m. on Friday. According to a press release, they found a woman and her pet dog inside the home near Ingra Street and East 10th Avenue, both with “trauma” injuries.
The woman died after being taken to an Anchorage hospital and the dog died after being taken to a local pet emergency center, officers reported.
