A man has been charged after a knifepoint robbery in Scarborough.

The 26-year-old man is due to appear before Scarborough Magistrates Court today charged with robbery and possessing a knife.
Another man, in his 30s, who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery has been released on police bail while investigations continue.
As reported by The Scarborough News, police were called after cash was stolen from the Premier shop on North Marine Road at around 7pm on Sunday.
The robbery took place over the weekend.
Officers say shop staff were left understandably shaken but no one was hurt.
