Man attaches stolen iPhone to car to track robbery victim seen making expensive purchases: police

A Florida man has been arrested after fatally shooting someone at a party he found by following another man in his car using an iPhone’s tracking system, according to News 6 in Orlando.
On Feb. 19, Derrick Maurice Herlong, 37, spotted a man buying expensive items at Gucci and Louis Vuitton in an Orlando mall, according to an arrest warrant. That man went on to place his purchases into his trunk, drove to a gas station for a five-minute stop, then proceeded to a party.
