Wichita Falls Police arrested a man on suspicion of sexually assaulting a female family member.
According to allegations in the arrest warrant: On May 7, officers investigated a report of a sexual assault that allegedly happened a couple of days earlier.
The 14-year-old victim told police she had been sexually assaulted by Allen Preston Bernstein.
During an interview at Patsy’s House, the victim told the forensic interviewer she was asleep in her room when she was sexually assaulted.
After the assault, Bernstein left her room. She said she told other family members about the assault.
Police spoke with the family members and found their statements were consistent with what the victim told the forensic interviewer.
