A man has been arrested and suspected cocaine worth almost €65,000 has been seized in Dublin.
Gardaí from the Divisional Drug Unit seized eight bags of suspected cocaine during an intelligence-led operation targeting the supply of drugs in Coolock, Dublin 17 at approximately 9pm yesterday.
The suspected cocaine weighs approximately one kilogramme and is estimated to be valued at €64,960.
One man, aged in his 30s, was stopped and searched during the operation on Greencastle Road.
He was arrested and is currently detained at Coolock Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
